Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use the Capstone Manchester Concrete and Masonry website, starting from our home page, and when you ask us for an estimate or hire us for work. By using the site or requesting an estimate, you agree to them.

If you don't agree, please don't use the site. You're still welcome to call us so we can talk through your project.

What we do

We're a masonry contractor in Manchester, NH, and we also do concrete work. Our services include foundation repair, chimney repair, tuckpointing, brick and stone work, retaining walls, driveway pavers, walkways and outdoor kitchens for homes in Manchester and the cities around it. You can read more about our crew on our About page.

The service descriptions on this site are general. The work we'll actually do on your property is set out in the written estimate or agreement for your job, and that document controls.

Estimates and pricing

Our estimates are free, done on site and come with no obligation. Each estimate is based on what we can see and reach during the visit, so it covers the conditions in front of us that day.

Masonry often hides problems behind brick, under a slab or below grade. If we open the work and find something the estimate didn't account for, like failed footings, water damage or more loose mortar than showed on the surface, we'll stop, show you and agree on any change in writing before we do the extra work.

An estimate's price holds for the period written on it. Any price or cost information elsewhere on this site is general information, not a quote for your job.

Scheduling and cancellation

We set a start date with you once you accept the estimate. Weather can move that date, because mortar and concrete need dry conditions and the right temperature to cure properly, so we may shift work for rain, freezing temperatures or similar conditions and we'll tell you as soon as we know.

Material delivery delays and permit timing can also move a start date. If you need to reschedule or cancel, call us at (603) 314-0526 as early as you can. What happens to a deposit or to materials already ordered for your job is written into your agreement.

Payment

Your written estimate or agreement sets the payment schedule, any deposit and the payment methods we accept. Materials ordered specifically for your job may be billed when we order them, since they usually can't be returned.

Balances not paid by the due date may carry late charges and collection costs where your agreement and the law allow. If you have a question about a bill, reach us through our contact page and we'll go over it with you.

Our work and warranties

We're licensed and fully insured, and our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. Any specific workmanship warranty, including how long it lasts and what it covers, is written into your agreement.

Our warranty doesn't cover damage from things outside our work, such as frost heave, drainage problems elsewhere on the property, soil we didn't prepare, misuse, or changes someone else makes after we finish. Natural differences in the color and texture of brick, stone, mortar and concrete are normal and aren't defects.

Products we install carry their maker's warranty, which comes from the maker, not from us. We'll pass along what the maker provides.

Using this website

The information on this site is general and provided as is, without warranties of any kind. It doesn't replace an on-site look at your house, because every wall, chimney and foundation is different.

The text, photos and design on this site belong to Capstone Manchester Concrete and Masonry. Please don't copy them for commercial use without our written permission.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses that come from your use of this site or from our services. Our total liability for any job won't be more than the amount you paid us for that job.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law doesn't allow to be waived, or our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

Settling disagreements

If something about a job doesn't seem right, call us first. Most problems get settled quickly when we come back out and look at the work together.

If we can't settle it that way, either of us may bring a claim in the state courts of New Hampshire, including small claims court when the claim qualifies.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire. For jobs in another state, any consumer protections that state requires still apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted here when you use the site or request an estimate is the one that applies. Changes don't alter an agreement you've already signed with us.
